Youth Employment Program

S.L.U Dream Team Employment & Recruitment Agency (SLUDTERA), is blessed and honored to announce its Youth Employment Program!

Open to all students in St. Lucia who satisfy the basic requirements, it promises to offer the type of experience and knowledge, that any young person would need when starting out in the world of work.

This program is strategically geared and driven towards academic enthusiasts, who are not afraid to dip their 'green' toes into the pool of 'the working world'. Being held for a two month period from June to July or July to August, the youth who register to gain employment through this program will be purposefully engaged in an effort to keep them out of 'trouble'. Parents, this is a great opportunity to ensure that your ward(s)/child(ren) make(s) the most of his/her/their vacation time by learning to become independent, while earning a little something, to put towards school books, supplies, transportation costs, etc.

What can be gained from this initiative? Knowledge, experience, awareness, (especially in jobs which they may not have been aware of how things are done), finance for schooling and above all, the importance of making a valuable contribution to society, by being gainfully employed instead of being idle and getting into mischief.

Who is this program for? Form 5 students, Sir Arthur Lewis Community College Students and University students who are not in their final year of school.

Corporate businesses, Private companies, Self-Employed Persons and Small and Medium Businesses are welcome to contact us to discuss being a part of this initiative aimed at our society's youth. (Note: strict adherence to the Agency's policies & procedures must be made reference to for this program as well as for any others implemented by the Agency).
