Forklift Operators

This job consists of running, navigating, driving, and maneuvering forklift machinery. Must operate as directed, following all rules and regulations in order to ensure safe work environment. Using forklift will entail positioning, lifting pallets, boxes, and other materials and transporting loads to designated locations. 

This job may entail:

• Following safety procedures

• Unloading by raising and lowering forklift

• Keeping track of inventory

• Maintenance of machinery

• High school diploma/GED/CXC/GCSE

General Laborers

This job consists of unloading and moving freight, stock, or other products from pallets and trucks to production and storage areas. Moving done by hand or trucks, forklifts, and other machinery.

This job may entail:

• Sorting and stacking cargo

• Following instructions and work orders

• Recording daily production

• Forklift use

• Filling out spreadsheets

• Ensuring inventory storage is protected

Grocery Distribution Center Workers

Job consists of selecting and packing cases of merchandise for shipment to retail grocery stores.

This position may entail the following: 

• constant lifting up to 60 lbs

• reading an Order Sheet to find individual items within warehouse

• maneuvering pallets

• selecting grocery products to accurately fill customer orders

• consecutively standing for long periods of time

• any other duties as assigned

Janitors

This job consists of keeping a clean and orderly work environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors and stairways. Also responsible for emptying trash bins, restocking bathroom items, and notifying employees of cautions such as "wet floor" etc. 

This job may entail the following:

• Notifying management when supplies are needed

• Notifying management when repairs are needed

• Deep cleaning

• Notifying staff of safety risks

• Other duties

Landscapers

Job consists of maintaining outdoor grounds using power equipment and hand. Responsibilities can include planting, pulling weeds, mowing, trimming, fertilization, and laying sod. Job can consist of design as well as labor. 

This position may require:

• High School Diploma or GED/CXC/GCSE 

• Ability to lift heavy objects

• Ability to work long hours

• Ability to work outdoors

Shipping & Receiving Staff 

Job consists of receiving products in a warehouse setting, keeping inventory, and assuring that products are shipped and distributed out of warehouse with correct quantity and quality. Record keeping, computer use, basic math, and other job duties may be included.

The following position may require: 

• High School Diploma or GED/CXC/GCSE

• Ability to stand for long shifts

• Basic math skills

Warehouse Workers

Job consists of lifting tile, filling orders, preparing packages for pick up, and entering data into the computer program. Position requires operation of forklifts and use of computers. Attention to detail very important in this position. 

 

This position may require:

• Forklift experience

• Computer knowledge
